Yamaha Add Two New Models To Pacifica Guitar Range

Today Yamaha introduces two new models in the Pacifica® 612 range, featuring striking new finishes. The Pacifica 612VIIFMX sports a flamed-maple veneer top with a Fired Red finish, and the Pacifica 612VIIX is available in Matte Silk Blue, Teal Green Metallic, and Yellow Natural Satin. The guitars combine renowned Yamaha build quality and playability with premium third-party components, recalling the Pacifica series’ LA custom shop roots.

“The Pacifica series was originally designed with our Los Angeles custom shop for players who needed premium features and performance,” said Dave Miner, Product Marketing Manager for Electric Guitars with the Yamaha Guitar Group. “Pacifica 600 models continue that tradition with upgraded hardware and a growing lineup of finishes, so players can find their perfect sound and style.”

The Seymour Duncan TB-14 Custom 5 and SSL-1 single-coil pickups deliver warm and powerful sounds, with a 5-position pickup selector and push-pull coil-split for tonal versatility. Graph Tech TUSQ nuts and string trees, Grover locking tuners, and Wilkinson VS50 bridges ensure optimal performance including exceptional tuning stability. Both guitars feature alder bodies with bolt-on maple necks and rosewood fretboards.

With their superb craftsmanship, comfortable designs, pro-quality hardware and electronics and beautiful new finishes, the Pacifica 612VIIFMX and Pacifica 612VIIX guitars look, feel, and sound fantastic in addition to providing exceptional value.
