As England enters its second national lockdown, music string manufacturer and distributor for The Music Alliance, Rotosound, have released this statement to assure all of our retailers that they remain open and are continuing manufacturing and distribution operations as usual.
“Our covid-compliant factory is still making music strings and we are continuing to distribute parts, instruments, and accessories from The Music Alliance. With a record amount of stock in our Kent warehouse we’re ready to rapidly fulfil orders during the busiest time in the retail calendar.
“Rotosound’s unique position as the leading British string manufacturer has allowed us to keep our UK dealers stocked up with strings since the start of the pandemic, avoiding issues faced by overseas competitors and having received our largest-ever raw materials order last month, we’re fully prepared to meet the growing demand for strings that we’ve seen this year. Our factory, warehouse, and dispatch department remain socially distanced and sanitised allowing dealers to receive goods safely.
“We are still offering drop shipping and our sales representatives are taking your calls and answering emails to help you and your customers receive the very best service. If your company’s delivery address has temporarily changed please get in touch with us as soon as possible to be sure that your orders are delivered correctly.
“We wish for the safety and success of music businesses in Scotland and Northern Ireland who are able to remain open, and in Wales who are set to reopen on November 9th. Together we will pull through this second lockdown and be ready to reopen to the public again.”
